How much does it cost to open a location?
Initial investment ranges from $175,000 to $350,000 for a takeout and delivery concept. An average location is 1200 to 2000sq/ft This amount will vary due to the size and geographic location.
What does a franchise include?
Corporate Training, operating manuals, policies, procedures and business management systems and ongoing support and updates for profitability
Can I own more than one store?
Yes, Armando's is looking for franchisees who are willing to open multiple stores over time.
Who designs and builds my store?
Armando's Pizza will provide you with a turnkey location.
Do you have financing and what are the minimum financial requirements?
We have partnered with WFCU credit union for ease of financing, but you can also use your own financial institution. You will need 10% to 30% of the purchase price in unencumbered capital.
If I do not meet the financial requirements, can I partner with someone else?
Yes, you can if your partner meets the requirements.
What is the franchise fee?
$30,000
What are the royalty fees?
5% of net sales.
Are there any other fees?
There is also a 2% advertising fee.
How much money can I make as an Armando's franchisee?
We cannot provide you with earnings due to Ontario franchise laws, but we encourage you to speak to our exiting franchisees.
Do I need to have restaurant experience?
No, but it would be helpful.
Does the franchisee have to be an owner operator?
We prefer if you are but if not, an approved principal operator must be in place.
What kind of training can I expect?
All franchisees participate in a 3-week training program. You would train at our corporate store and at your location prior to your opening. We also will be present during the grand opening for additional two weeks.
Do you choose the location?
Yes and No. We will choose the location or if the franchisee has a location in mind we will look at the location to ensure it meets our criteria for success.
